Dr. Zhong Tianyi, Co - founder & CEO of Huiliao Bio, was listed on the "Hurun China U35 Entrepreneurship Pioneers 2023" list .

(Suzhou, November 3, 2023) – The Hurun Research Institute, which provides the world's largest unicorn and future unicorn lists, has released the "Hurun China Under35s 2023" report in collaboration with Longqiu Capital.

This marks the inaugural release of this ranking by the Hurun Research Institute, with the objective of identifying entrepreneurial leaders in China under the age of 36. The Hurun Research Institute compiled all publicly available information on the candidates and conducted repeated cross-verifications to select enterprises with promising development trends and high growth potential in various sub-sectors. Dr. Tianyi Zhong, Co-founder & CEO of Huiliao, was included in the list due to his significant achievements in the mRNA field.

Twelve individuals from Suzhou were featured on the U35 list, alongside 251 other entrepreneurial pioneers, including Bicheng Han of BrainCo, Yunchen Nie of Heytea, Jinglong Xia of Supermonkey, Bing Xu of SenseTime, Yi Xu of Bilibili, Yuqi Chen of Hai Robotics, Long Ma of Benxia, and Ning Wang of Keep. Among them, 46 U35 entrepreneurs represent companies valued at over $1 billion, with 23 from unicorn enterprises, 36 from future unicorn enterprises, 16 from gazelle enterprises, and 20 from cheetah enterprises.

The Hurun U Series, which began in China with the U30 in 2017, now spans eight countries. This year marks the inaugural U35 and U40 lists. The U30 represents the startup phase, the U35 the growth phase, and the U40 the relatively mature phase. To qualify for the U30, one must establish a company with social impact and a valuation of $10 million USD; for the U35, $50 million USD; and for the U40, $100 million USD—a high bar to clear. The U35 stage is particularly critical for entrepreneurs, as it is when they are most likely to build companies with the highest future value. At this point, entrepreneurs possess experience, including a reputation, that enables them to build rapidly growing enterprises.

The U35 China Entrepreneurial Pioneers List was released this year during the 24th anniversary celebration of Hurun Report and the awards ceremony for the Most Respected Entrepreneurs. The event brought together over 500 guests, including nearly 50 U35 and U40 entrepreneurial pioneers and almost 30 entrepreneurs from the Hurun Rich List, to witness the power of young entrepreneurs. Dr. Zhong Tianyi's inclusion on the list recognizes his personal achievements and acknowledges the research and development capabilities, social contributions, and development potential of Huiliao Bio.
